HOMEMADE VEGETARIAN CHIPS
Crunchy and healthy snack based on your favorite vegetables!
- 1 courgette
- 1 carrot
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 rutbaga or turnip
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180C
Step 2. Cut all the vegetables into even thin slices with a knife, but preferably with a mandolin. In a bowl, sauté them with the oil, salt and pepper until evenly coated. Spread out on a parchment-lined baking sheet, keeping overlaps to a minimum. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 C. Turn over. Bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until crispy and lightly browned, but not burnt. Observe them carefully and remove some early if they are browning before the others.
Step 3. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before eating.
Step 4. Enjoy the crunch!
